Wednesday Posting
Went to the National Butterfly Center this morning. 85 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. The wind was light, too light, The wooded areas had mosquitoes.
Saw lots if butterflies and a new bird for us, Two Eastern Screech-Owls. We saw a Western Screech-Owl last year, but we never saw an Eastern before.
Below are pictures from yesterday. A couple of shots inside on of the blinds and some shots of the Clay-colored Thrush. This Thrush is very common in Central America but has a very limited range in the U.S.
