Alamo National Wildlife Refuge
Yesterday we we went to the Alamo National Wildlife Refuge, which of course, is near Alamo TX.
Our birding experience wasn't quite what we were hoping for, but we had a good time. The morning was so overcast and foggy bird pictures would be looking a little drab. I did get some pics of a Harris's Hawk at close range, which I will post later.
Lunch at Willie's Bar-B-Q in Alamo was great. A very popular spot here. We saw miles of cabbage and cauliflower fields. Looked like the harvesting was starting.
Some pics from yesterday.
