Sunday in Tucson
For todays post I'll be going back to Big Bend. I have been working on the pictures form there a little.
I have 2 pictures of the same scene. It's a launch area near our campground in Rio Grande Village. It's a spot where folks can launch canoes and kayaks. From my low vantage point the cliffs from Sierra Del Carmen Mountain are reflected in the Rio Grande River. One shot was taken in the afternoon, the second was taken at sunset.
These are the same cliffs you saw in the campground sunrise and sunset pictures. The cliffs are made up of layers of sandstone and limestone. I think the combination of the rock layers and the different lighting, makes for a compelling image. Hope you agree.
