Day 2 in Tucson
Well it's our second day in Tucson and another record high temperature. It did get to 90 today. But, I know it's a cliche, but it is a dry heat. With the humidity just above 10%, it doesn't feel that bad. But if you are in the sun for any length of time, it is hot. I always find that the sun feels much stronger at higher altitudes. We are at about 2600 ft here at the campground. We reached over 4500 when we crossed the Continental Divide on our way here yesterday.
Today was a catch up day, no activities. Laundry and house (RV) cleaning. We are right by a Home Depot, Khols and a few other stores here. Plus there is a bike trail along side the campground, though it's partially closed for reconstruction.
The pictures are form a bike ride in Big Bend NP. Looking at the park map I saw the road made a lot of twist and turns. I thought it was because it kind of followed the river. Wrong....the curves were switchbacks on hills ! YIKES ! On one hill I had all I could do to keep the front wheel on the road.
I did work on pictures today mostly to add keywords, but I did pare the pictures from Big Bend down to about 1082. Progress.
