NEW Location

If you are not on Facebook you probably not aware that we left AL on Feb 1.  We made it to Beaumont TX for the first night, then Junction TX for the second night.  Last night, we made it to Las Cruces NM.

We decided on a quick little side trip and are now set up in Roper lake State Park AZ.   A great little gem of a campground in eastern AZ.

We have been pushing against strong head winds for 3 days straight.  Our rig handles the wind fine, but fuel economy is pretty poor under tases conditions.  We are at an elevation of about 3100 ft here.  Thats a decrease from about 4500 ft.  There is a cold front moving through and with the wind if=t feels cold.  The forecast os for a low of 27 tonight.

We had showers this morning and it looks like it snowed on the mountain peaks.  I hope to get a few shots tomorrow morning of the morning sun on a mountain behind our campsite.

The pictures below are form the sunset at our campground in Junction TX.  While we had our fair share of brilliant sunrises and sunsets at our Lake Huron home, there is just something about southwest sunsets and sunrises that grabs me.

I captured  several images of this sunset from several perspectives and exposures, the three belkwi are my keepers.
