Sedona Madhouse

Yesterday our plan was to workout in the fitness room and then go to Sedona for the day.
Well Sedona was a madhouse.  Spring break I am guessing by all of the school age kids we saw everywhere.  Why would you drag kids to a place like this????
We drove around town looking for a place to park for about 45 mins.  The only place we could find was at the visitor center.  30 min limit.
We have no pictures from our uptown Sedona visit.  Needed all eyes on the road and the mass of people.  It was nuts.  We were here last in October of 2002.  Wow how things have changed.  The visitor center guy told me this is peak time.  Spring break until the end of May.  Then again in October.
We started back on Rt 179 and stopped in Tlaquepaque.  Which is a quaint little section of galleries and restaurants.  It's described in information booklets as a Arts and Crafts Village.  We liked in 2002 and it's still on our A list.  Found a Brew Pub and had a late lunch there.
Made several scouting stops on the way back, including finding the building lot my sister and her husband  are buying. She will have a beautiful view from her retirement home.

The only way I am going to be able to post pictures is to mostly use iPhone shots.  So below are a few from yesterday.  More later as time allows.
