Bryce Canyon National Park

We left Page yesterday morning.  We drove over the bridge along side Glen Canyon Dam and then up the short climb.  I have been very impressed with our trucks performance, especially when pulling long steep grades.  Yesterday as we pulled our way up the hill after the dam an Arizona state trooper must have also been impressed with the truck, he turned on his light bar.  The red and blue lights sure get your attention even in bright sunlight.

We are now set up in a campground ( Ruby's ) just outside the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park.  We are at an elevation of 8,000 - 8,300 feet.  The temps are much cooler.

We will be here for 5 nights and then it's off to Zion National Park.
Below are some iPhone pictures from yesterday.  We drove through Red Canyon on the way in to Bryce.  That is where we drove through an arch.
