Another Sedona Day
The morning started out with temps in the mid 50's, like most of our mornings here. At 8 am the fitness room opens and we headed over. The wind was starting to build. Wind advisories were issued for the whole day. When we came out it was really blowing hard. It got up to 40 - 50 mph. The red dust was everywhere. This afternoon it rained a little and the rain brought the dust that was in the air down with it. My white truck looked like it had measles.
Today we went back to Sedona and had lunch in a southwestern restaurant and went in a few galleries. One ( the picture of the store front is below ) was 90 % wooden art. Beautiful turnings and carvings. There were also some gorgeous slab tables. I was in awe at some of the work in there.
Some of the pictures show Gloria and then me sitting in a Vortex area. ( google it if you don't know about them ) . The sign says it was voted the areas best vortex?
If the wind dies down we are moving to higher ground tomorrow. We will be going form 3,200 - 4,000 ft up to 6,000 - 8,000 ft. The weather at Grand Canyon area has been pretty cool and it may have snowed today.
The last few pics are at the campground.
