Hummingbird

 Ok here is what I was thinking.  In the  first image I cropped the image  square, 1:1,  eliminating the end of the branch on the right side.  I felt if I left more of the brach it would pull the viewer away and out of the frame.

In the second image the bird is looking towards the end of the brach.  I felt like the end of the branch with the light webbing could be a secondary subject, especially with the boards beak pointing the viewer to it.  

So for this image a 16:9 crop.  So that's what I was thinking as I  processed these two Broad-billed Hummingbird images. ( Taken at Madera Canyon )

Leica SL3-P, 1/800 sec, f7.1 with an ISO of 3200 and a 500 mm Sigma prime lens.
