Bison
For today's image I have chosen an image of a bison. The image was made in the northern section of the Grand Teton National Park. We were photographing a small herd of bison and this one was in the process of getting up. In the process of getting all of that mass moving upwards it had kicked up a lot of dust. While processing the image I wanted to keep the dust as pronounced as I could. I think the eye is a big part of the story this image tells as well. Just looking at the image a viewer wouldn't necessarily know what the bison was actually doing. With all of the dust and look in its eye the viewer maybe wonder what this animal is reacting to.
