More Quito
In todays post it will more of our Quito walking tour. In these images you can see the streets that we walk with all of the shops along the way. The only traffic was just on the cross streets, so just pedestrians along our walk.
In a few of the picture you can see we interacted with one of the street vendors. This young man was another of the Venezuelan immigrants. He was trying to earn a living selling his paintings. Like Peru there is no welfare or unemployment. Our trip leader Jimmy is translating for us.
In one of the shops I found a woodturner. I stopped briefly and communicated with him that I was also a turner. He didn't seem to be real impressed with that fact.
