Weather front
Well....the weather has changed a bit. But I am not complaining. A cold front has moved through and yesterday the temps dipped to 44 during the afternoon. Plus it rained on and off. The wind made it feel even worse. Today starts a gradual warm up with low 80's predicted for the weekend.
We spent the morning and early afternoon at the Mitchel Lake Audubon Area. Saw some different birds while hiking there. I 'll post some pictures from there later.
We drove up to Gruene TX to meet Gloria's niece for dinner. Amy drove down from Austin and we met at he Gruene River Grill. Had a great dinner and a nice visit. IPhone shot below.
The other picture is a sign on the trail from our hike on Monday. That day we were in the Medina River Park. As you can see from the sign, hiking around here requires a bit more attention to your surroundings than it does in Northern Michigan.
