We have moved !
We are now in Canmore Alberta CA. We are in a campground that is a very short walk to the downtown area. It is a pretty cool funky kind of town surrounded by snow capped mountain. We are 14 miles east of Banff National Park. Most of the mountains have a fresh coat of snow on their peaks. While we had rain in Waterton, the higher elevations got some snow. It is cold today ( 50 deg F ) it is supposed to warm back up. We will be here until Tuesday and then we plan to either move to Banff NP or Lake Louise NP. or who knows where.
We saw at least one black bear each day we were in Waterton. On the way out today we saw another one and we didn't bother to stop.
Yesterday we did a guided hike with a ranger to Summit Lake. It was a drizzle most of the hike, but the temp in the 40's made for a great hike.
Last night was another RV rocking windy night. It was much better drive today than we have had. The scenery was magnificent and the roads were very good.
It seems like we have pretty good internet here so I will try to upload some pics later tonight. We just returned from dinner at the Grizzly Paw Brew Pub. The food and the beer were both very good.
