Testing
Yesterday was a misty rainy afternoon here in the southwest. I was in the house working on my auto focus settings when I spotted some goldfinches in the backyard at the fountain. So I slid the patio door open and grabbed a few shots to test the different settings.
This little bird was about 20-25 feet away. So to get her any size on the image I did a major crop. I started with just over 60 MP and ended up with 18 MP. A pretty severe crop. And considering the iso was 4000 I think it held up pretty well. Feel free to zoom in and pixel peep.
Lesser goldfinch, Leica SL3, Sigma 500mm f5.6 prime. 1/1600 sec, f5.6, iso 4000 hand held.
