MÜLLER ORGAN
While in Haarlem NL we visited the The Great Church or aka St. Bavo's. One of the main attractions. of the historic church is the Christian Müller Organ.
The Müller Organ was built between 1735 and 1738. It has 5,068 pipes and is almost 30 m (98 ft ) high. In 1766 Mozart played the organ. He was 10 years old at the time. G.F. Händel also played this organ.
The organ was restored in 2021- 2022. It is impressive. You should always click on my images to view full screen, but I encourage you to do so with these images to get a sense of the detail of the carvings and other parts of this masterpiece.
