Oriole

Today's picture is what I believe is a female Hooded Oriole.  It is one of the birds in the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum's free flight aviary.  It also looks a lot like an Orchard Oriole, but they only typically pass through AZ in migration.  So it's not likely the desert museum would have one I think.

I had the camera close to the ground to capture a few images of her foraging for worms in the dirt.  The area she was working in had some nice dappled shade.

Leica SL3, 1/640sec, f4.0, iso 400, focal length 200mm.
