Cowboy greeting
A Cowboy Greeting. I made this image at sunrise on the first full day of the workshop in Gold Canyon.
I was definitely going for a silhouetted image but in processing the image I used a linear gradient to add just a touch of detail in the foreground. So the subjects remained fully silhouetted while there is a hint of desert detail in the foreground. Not sure if it is a positive or distraction ? Maybe share your thoughts on it?
Olympus OM 1, 1/1600 sec, f/8.0, iso 100, focal length 210mm (421 mm in 35 equivalent )
The lens I used was the 40 -150 mm f2.8 zoom with a 1.4 x extender.
