Yellow-rumped
Normally yellow-rumped warblers are a no brainer to ID. There are several variations, mostly regional, but they can look very different. As I was getting these shots I was pretty certain I was making images of a yellow-rumped warbler, but once I started to process the images the head has us a bit confused.
So it's a Yellow-rumped Warbler..maybe.
Olympus OM1, 1/1250 sec, g/6.3, iso 800, focal length 500mm (1000mm, 35 equivalent)
Today I am off for a couple days of ranch life photography, pretty excited.
