Another set of images from last Saturdays hike at Madera Canyon AZ.  Today it's Acorn Woodpeckers.

Was tipped off, by another birding/photographer couple we met on the trail, about the location of this nest. 

They must have some hatchlings inside because both mom and dad were coming and going bringing food.
