Everglades National Park

Above is a link to a very short video.  Less than 1 minute.
The setting:
The Everglades National Park has a couple of visitor Centers and entrances.  Our friend Mickey had told us about one of the entrances to the park, Shark Valley.  At Shark Valley is a 15 mile loop road that does not allow vehicles, other than their own tram service.  You can however, hike the road or bike it.  Thank you Mickey for the recommendation.  It was fabulous.

We choose to ride our bikes around the loop.  We didn't get 100 yards from the visitors center before I spotted 2 birds in the water just off the road.  One was a Little Blue Heron the other an Anhinga.  I stopped my bike and straddled it while I got a video camera out of my pack.

I was busy filming the 2 birds when I heard Gloria's voice.....Tom,  I must not have heard her the first time, but I heard the second ........TOM....  I figured she had seen some little bird or some flower.

I replied yes.  Gloria  says my response sounded like I was annoyed or bothered by her interruption.  You can be the judge of that , as it was all recorded.  As was what she was trying to get my attention for.
