Joshua Tree 3
Today we visited Biosphere 2. It was pretty interesting. Pictures at a later time.
Today it's more of Joshua Tree. These pictures were taken on our hike to Ryan Ranch. It is's an old homestead that became part of the park. The policy is to leave it like they found it. So when you get to the site of the ranch there is old equipment and such all around. When you are here, you wonder how did they ever ranch here. But we are told that going back 60 -100 years ago this area had a lot more rain fall than it gets now. So there was a lot more grassland back then.
