While in Haines, for our afternoon excursion we did a rafting trip on through part of the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve. I have included a few images from the beginning of that float. Shooting with a long lens in a fast moving raft, shooting through some very dense air in a light mist was a challenge for someone who has been mostly shooting in desert southwest air with 9% humidity. But I did mange to get a few pics to mark the occasion.
