Moses H Cone

This series of images were made at the Moses H Cone memorial park, a Blue Ridge Parkway recreation area.  Moses Cone and his brother Cesar were the sons of a German Jewish immigrant who came to this country as a peddler. They fashioned a textile empire, making them the largest producers of denim in the world.  The estate now serves as a visitor center and has a gift shop and craft center.
