Portfolio

A quick 5 image portfolio from our Christmas Day Hike at Madera Canyon.  We pretty much stayed in the lower part of the canyon that day.  The images show the view looking west at the lowest portion of the Santa Rita's looking from the lower parking area.   Then a pair of Yuca images, Gloria inspecting a bird, and a "morteros". A morteros is a Native American mortar, this one carved in granite.  There is a penny in the upper part of the image for perspective.  I hadn't noticed the penny until I was processing the image.

This part of Arizona was mostly O'odham peoples, but Apache were also in this area at times.
