Day 4

We are now in day 4 of this storm.  It has stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to Ontario Canada.  In most of the US it has moved through, for us we are in the wrap around effect and we are getting more snow today and into tomorrow.
The pictures below were taken yesterday afternoon when the winds were 35 - 40 mph with gust over 50 mph.  I could hardly stand up on the beach and standing still was not an option.  The build up of ice and snow that you see in the picture is about 5 feet high.  They are created by the spray form the waves freezing into mounds.  Later the waves will bore holes in the mound areas and make little volcanoes.  I love watching Lake Huron change day to day.  It's such a marvel  It's different every single day.
