Hawk
Todays pictures are again form the Desert Museum. During the Free Flight show they had 3 Harris' Hawks preforming. They would soar inches over the heads of the crowd and land on snags 4 or 5 feet from the crowd. Harris' Hawks will cooperate with each other when hunting and they demonstrated that as part of the show. I was WAY over gunned with my lens selection. I had a 300 mm prime with a 1.4 extender. On my Micro Four Thirds camera that had me at a 840mm equivalent when compared to a full frame camera. I should have left the extender off and auto focus would have been quicker. All of the birds were certainly close enough for the 300mm.
