Snowy Owls

This was supposed to be posted days ago. I just discovered it in my iPad app. It never got published for some reason. Below is the posting that was supposed to be first.

To say my friend  Steve Baker knows where to find birds is a bit of an understatement. Steve is also a very good photographer. He invited me along Monday last to go in search of Snowy Owls in the Upper Penisula. We found over 20 of them. And at one spot there were 9 bald Eagles.
A lot of the birds were just a little too far for good photos, but we did get a few close enough. We also went to a yard Steve knew of that had a lot of pine grosbeak. Plus several other species like redpoll.
It was a great outing. A high temp of 11 degrees F. But lots of sun and little wind.
Steve was interested in my Olympus micro four thirds camera, so I let Steve shoot with my camera and I shot video. Below are a few of Steve's pictures.
