Desert scene

On Sunday, Mothers day, Gloria and I did a couple of short hikes in the Saguaro National Park West.  

Below are two images from that afternoon.  The Sonora Desert is pretty this time of year.  Many of the cactus are blooming as are the trees like the Palo Verde.  To make things a bit more interesting there were some rain showers here and there.
