Double Trouble
This past Sunday, Gloria's daughter Meri ran a double marathon. That's right a double, as in 54.2 miles in one day. The event was the " Run With Scissors 1/2 Marathon, Marathon, Double Marathon.
Runners take you pick.
Meri completed the course in just over 12 hours and 30 minutes. The course was a loop in the woods on a bridle trail. So the terain was hilly and the ground uneven, with a little horse dung here and there to make it more interesting.
The event starts at 6 am.......it's still dark at 6am in October, in Ohio.
Of course Gloria and I where there for support, and I shot some video of course.
