Route 66 Trip

 We made a quick decision to do the Arizona portion of Route 66.  We had visited a few of the towns before, but there were many that we never got off the interstate for or actually were not near. 

Our home is near the center of the route but we chose to do it east to west.  So we headed for Holbrook AZ  To get started.  We skipped the Petrified Forest and th ePainted desert because we had been there previously.  The group of shouts were from our crossing the Salt River canyon on our way to Holbrook.
