American Coot
From this mornings camera walk. I found this juvenile American Coot at Canoa Ranch this morning.
A rare overcast morning here in southern AZ.
To get my camera low enough for a near eye level perspective, I rotated the lens foot to the above the lens position and then threaded my monopod to it and held the camera that way. Good practice for shooting from a boat in my upcoming Alaska trip.
Leica SL3-P with a Sigma 500mm prime plus a Leica 1.4 x extender. So 700mm focal length. 1/800 sec, f8, iso 640 - 1/3 stop exposure.
