A splash of color

 A splash of color at Canao Ranch.  Right after getting a couple hundred images of the Great Blue Heron with the goldfish I went to one of the lakeside benches  in the park so I could swap cameras.  I use the OM Systems OM-1 for wildlife and fast action subjects but switch to my Leica SL 3 for landscapes.  

The sun was low and bright, putting a ton off detail in the Santa Rita mountains in the background.  

Full disclosure..there were power lines in the shot and the low bright sun really lit them up, They had to go.  So with the click of the mouse, they are gone.  Please don't think less of me for removing a manmade distraction.  :)

Leica SL3, Leica 24-70 zoom at 50mm, f/9.0, 1/200 sec, iso 640. + .3 overexposure. circular polarizing  filter to reduce glare.
