Merced River wood

 I made this image while waiting for the shadows to reach the face of El Capitan.  I thought how this log was caught on the rocks interesting.  A closer look reveals that it appears the tree was in a burn area at one time as well.

To achieve the look of smoother water, magnetic circular polarizer and a ND filter were used to get the shutter speed down to 30 seconds.  Leica SL3, Leica 24-70 zoom at 53mm,  iso 100, f11, tripod mounted.
