US 191

 After our stay at the ranch,  we decided to take the scenic route for  return trip home, which would be mostly on US 191.  

This highway travels through the White Mountains and the Apache Nat'l Forest.  The road is very winding and has many tight turns.  We made a pit stop at the Hannagan Meadow Lodge.  We drank our coffee on the porch  and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds buzzing us and visiting the many feeders hung there.  

The meadow in the picture was across the highway from the lodge.
