Moving on looking at images from our recent road trip.

Anoles...they are small to fairly large lizards, typically green or brownish, but their color can vary depending on species and some can change colors.

My quest for info on this little guys says that the brown anole is very common in Florida but not actually native.  They are from the islands of the West Indies and were introduced to Key West in the late 1800's.  They are now found in every county of Florida's peninsula and much of the panhandle.
