Mt Wrightson

 An image from earlier this summer.  Either Gloria nor I golf, but in the late evenings we can drive our golf cart on the pathways of the 3 courses.  This shot was from the edge of the current eastern boundaries of the developed area in Quail Creek.  Near the 4th hole of one of the courses. I was facing southeast to capture this image.

The mountains are part of the Santa Rita range and the highest peak in that range is Mt Wrightson, seen here with natures spotlight.  Mt Wrightson tops out at 9,456 ft elevation.  That is 7,000 feet above the surrounding desert.
