Mt Lemon

 This past Thursday we drove up to Mt Lemon, and this  was the first time we have been up there since moving out here.  When we use to snow bird out here for a few months at a time we would go up there several times each year.  

So we were hoping for a little bit of color up there and did find a few aspen trees that were starting to turn a golden color.  

The little community near the top is Summerhaven.  Where we live in Green Valley we sit at just over 2800 ft elevation, Summerhave is something over 7,700 feet.  You do reach 8,000 feet on the road going up and then go back down just a bit.  The official elevation for Mt Lemon is 9,171 feet.
