This post is geared primarily towards photographers and maybe anyone who appreciates great photography of the American West, West Texas in particular.
This YouTube video features some of the work of Wyman Meinzer. Wyman was the State Photographer of Texas when this was posted.
I was made aware of this work through the Photography Club of Quail Creek. I was really taken by this video, (a slide show actually as it has no actual video clips, just stills) and came away with several learning points about both photography and building slide shows featuring my work.
I have watched it several times in the past two days. What might impress photographers is the fact that this was posted in August of 2013. The gear and technology used is at least 8 years old now. That is ancient in this fast improving filed. I think it really helps to drive home the point that knowing the understanding the art and being able to see the great compositions trumps technology.
I hope you enjoy it. It is just over 4 mins 44 seconds long, but I think it will keep your attention.
