Moving in

 Ok, so we have started to move in to the new house.  About a month ago I started to get Cox Cable and internet set up.  The house is all prewired for them. There is even a conduit in the ground from the street to the house to fish the cable through.  Not much for them to do.  

But things were not proceeding as I thought, and in one of my last discussions with Cox Cable I might have said something to the effect “ listen ....you need me, I don’t need you”. 

Anyhow turns out we don’t need them. See, $40 at the local hardware store and we are good to go.  Might need a little longer wire to get closer to the window, but hey. It working see for yourself.
