Pronghorn
A Pronghorn Antelope. We found a small group in an open range on our way back from an afternoon at Parker Canyon 2 weeks ago.
Interesting animals. They are fast, I have read articles that state they can run 55 mph for about 1/2 mile and 35 mph for 4 miles. Making them the fastest land mammal in the Western hemisphere.
Unlike a deer they don't jump very well and can be seen going under fences rather than jumping them. I am looking forward to getting some images of Antelope this fall.
