On the move

Today was a theme. “A day in the life”. We rode in “motor taxi” to a home that has a cottage industry and made chocolate like the Peruvian people do.  Then it was to another to see how the local drink was made.  Following that it was to a huge market to get some fresh produce which we took to a home and made lunch with the locals.  Lunch was cooked the same as it has been for hundreds of years. Then it was off to a ceramic factory. The owners is a renowned artist.
For dinner it was to another private home.  The owner is a semi retired restaurant owner who now only serves groups like ours in his estate.  He has a remarkable art collection.  Oh and all of the meals were fantastic. No pics today,  not enough hours in the day.

Tomorrow we head for Machu Picchu for 2 days.
