Kayak Race
As part of Cheboygan's Waterways Festival this week there was a kayak race. They race for over 10 miles along the Lake Huron Shore line and then turn and then sprint up the Cheboygan River, against the current and at times against the wind.
I was on the east side of the river between the State Street Bridge and the Pedestrian Bridge. So I was in sight of the finish line. I got some images of the leaders coming up the river at the State Street Bridge. The boat that appears to be going the wrong way was the first boat in. He was just cruising around as a cool down I suppose.
