Fly Fishing

I can't remember when I flyfished last, but it has been awhile. Late last fall I was gifited a split bamboo flyrod and yesterday I tried it out. Cast a cane rid is very different than casting a carbon fiber rid and add to that some very strong wind gust and casting can be a challenge. In about 2 hours on the South Branch of the Ausable river I did catch a small brook trout. So a nice day on the water. I did have my camera along so here are some images. No fish picture though, not enough hands.
