Tubac

We are back at the Tubac Art Festival again this year.  Just a really cool little town with a very big art festival.  One of the first things we did was visit the winery in town.  Bought two bottles of their wine.  We were really surprised at how good all of the 7 wines we tasted were.  They grow all of their own grapes in the mountains near Patagonia and Wilcox AZ.  The vineyards are at about 5,000 feet elevation and they have a couple of different grapes that like the growing conditions there I guess.

The owners were at the Air Force Academy together hence the Flying theme to the name of the winery (Flying Leap) and the wines.
