Eagle

Until this past Saturday I hadn't picked up my camera since we have been back home.  I was working on a plumbing project in the kitchen when my helper said an Eagle just landed in the top of a pine tree in the front yard.  He was only 100 feet away from the kitchen window but was behind lots of branches.  I got everything ready and walked down to the neighbors to the east and worked my way back towards our house going trough the woods most of the way and then went down on the beach and I was now about 50 yards away when I found him still in the tree.  As I was getting the shot focused and composed he took off.  At first I thought I was busted but he flew out over the lake, but angled towards me.  So instead of an eagle perched I was now going for an eagle in flight.
