New Table
It has been a long time in the making, but its finally finished. Gloria and I had been looking for a large slap of wood to make a bar table out of. About a year ago we found what we wanted at Northern Hardwoods in Petoskey MI.
Gloria sketched up what she wanted for the legs and frame. We went to Great Lakes Custom Metalworks in Cheboygan. They did an autocad render of the sketch and we had them make the base. I finished the top with a pour on epoxy finish and bolted to to the base. We are very happy with how it turned out.
Can't say enough about how great Great Lakes Custom Metalworks was to work with.
The log stools were made by Bill Swiderek. Gloria had won one of the stools at a fundraising dinner. Bill had donated it to the fundraiser, so Gloria contacted Bill and had 3 more made.
Over all we are pretty pleased with how everything turned out.
