Bakersfiled
I have just recently returned from a photography workshop in Yosemite National Park. I drove and as I was traveling CA 58 and had just crossed the Sierra Nevada mountains and was heading down into the San Joaquin Valley at Bakersfield., there was a pull off a this point and I thought this was an interesting scene. I was first drawn to the rolling hills with the road as a leading line, but the haze or smoke was also something I was wondering about. My first thought was maybe there was a fire nearby. As I drove along in the valley I could see it was not smoke from an active fire but some sort of haze of smog. It was pretty intense. As always click and view larger.
