Hummingbirds

 Going to be posting a couple of hummingbird pics.  This one is a male Costa's Hummingbird.

I participated in a humming bird photography workshop that was led by Stephen Vaughn.  It was one of the programs offered at the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum's Art Institute.  It was primarily classroom based and then a couple of hours outdoors to practice the techniques.  

Learned a ton about hummingbirds and some new techniques for getting great images.  So I'm hoping to concentrate on the little buggers this spring.  

This gorgeous little bird was photographed at the Desert Museum in the middle of the afternoon.
