Show Low

 Ok an update.  We were in Show Low AZ for 3 nights.  Spent the first day getting the lay of the land and looking for a propane hose to connect our grill to the RV's system so we don't need to carry a grill propane tank anymore ( our Cougar 5th wheel has a propane port from the factory). 

We were shocked with Show Low.  We were expecting a sleepy little mountain town.  Not so at all.  Not only do they have a Wally World, they have a Home Depot, a Lowes and about everything else you could need.  You gotta love the mountain air.  The summer temps are a real draw for second homes.

On our last day we found a nice little spring creek trout stream to check out, Spring Creek.  The creeks claim to fame is the fact that it is one of the streams that is part of a restoration effort for Apache Trout.  Apache trout are only found in the White Mountains of AZ.  Sadly we did not catch one while were were there.  But I suspect we will be back.
