A quick slideshow

The Cheboygan Area Public Library was looking for some pictures for the lower level of the building.  This is the area where the Gallery, activities rooms and the main meeting areas are located.  They wanted 5 pictures. The Cheboygan Area Photography Club started a program where we would have a small contest for our members to submit pictures and the library staff would select 5 pictures from the submissions.

The club would then have large (16x20 ) prints made and get them framed.  

Twelve months later we would select 5 more pictures and change out the ones from the previous year.  Each year the theme would change.  This years theme was Michigan Landscapes.  I submitted twelve pictures for consideration.  Two of mine were selected.  

During the process of deciding which pictures to submit I created a slide show of about fifty I was considering.  From the fifty or so I was considering for submission I select twelve.  I am not going to tell you the 2 that were picked,  you can visit the library and see them and the other winners.  They look far more impressive hanging on the wall professionally framed.
